Villa Formentor — Smart Home
Whole-home AV, lighting, shading and security integration for a seven-bedroom villa on the Formentor peninsula. Crestron Home manages 22 zones across the property, with Lutron motorised shading, multiroom audio and a dedicated home cinema.
Villa Formentor is a newly constructed seven-bedroom residence on one of Mallorca's most exclusive coastlines. The client required a fully integrated smart home system that felt effortless to use by both the family and the property management team. Halo specified Crestron Home as the central platform, integrating 22 zones of audio and video, Lutron motorised shading across 34 motorised blinds and curtains, full climate control and a Hikvision security system with remote monitoring. The ground floor open-plan living and dining space features a 98" display embedded in a bespoke stone wall recess, with a Sonance invisible speaker system and subwoofers concealed beneath the raised timber floor. The lower level was converted into a six-seat private cinema with acoustic wall panels, a 4K laser projector and Dolby Atmos sound. Outdoor terraces received weatherproof Sonance landscape speakers and independently controlled lighting scenes from sunrise to midnight.
